The cost of a standard 50-minute session, in office or online, is $100.00 per session (HST included). Longer sessions may be available at a prorated fee. I provide receipts for all services that are delivered in person, by mail, or by e-mail (scanned signed documents).
Payment options: cash or e-transfer. Credit card is available when booking online.
Payment is due at the end of each session.
Additional fees may apply if I am required to prepare letters, forms, documentation, or special notes.
Cancellations require 24-hours notice.
Less than 24-hours notice of cancelation, missed appointments, or missed sessions will be charged a full appointment fee.
If you are late, your appointment will still begin at the set time and you will be charged for a full session. We will work with the remaining available time. If you do not arrive within 30 minutes after the start of your appointment, I will assume the appointment has been canceled.
I now offer direct billing for clients with Green Shield Canada and SSQ insurance.
I am a registered psychotherapist registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (#008343). Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your health insurance provider before booking your first session to check if services from psychotherapists are part of your insurance plan.
I recommend asking the following questions to your health insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
Does my health insurance cover Registered Psychotherapists?
Do I have a deductible, and if so, what is it?
Does my plan limit the number of sessions I can take?
Do I need written approval from a physician for services to be covered?
Regulation of psychotherapy by the CRPO in Ontario is relatively new. While not all insurance companies currently provide coverage for services from a registered psychotherapist, you might be able to extend your current coverage by contacting your insurance provider or your employer. You can access the website of the Registered Psychotherapists Insurance Committee for more information, as well as obtaining a letter you can download to request the inclusion of services offered by psychotherapists as part of your mental health benefits.
